Based on large cohorts, and utilizing methods such as the Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ) and 24-hour recalls, dietary intake data are collected through a customized electronic dietary data collection system. This enables the construction of a database that comprehensively, continuously, and dynamically reflects the dietary nutrition and lifestyles of populations in different regions. Furthermore, by leveraging biomedical big data generated from cutting-edge technologies on the biological detection platform, such as gut microbiota metagenomics and metabolomics, we aim to explore the nutrient-related factors and pathways affecting diseases.
