The project implements the chief scientist responsibility system, with Zhejiang University as the leading unit, the main participating units are Zhejiang Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention and Zhejiang Cancer Hospital, and Professor Wu Xifeng serving as the chief scientist. The chief scientist has overall responsibility for the planning, design, and management of the project; the examination and approval of project policy documents, research and development plans, research programs, research agreements, and implementation plans; review and approval of data analysis plans, as well as database and biobank plans; and promotion of the industrialization of project results.
